Furniss of Truro
In the Cornish city of Truro, during the late 1880s, a master baker named John Cooper Furniss was making his celebrated Cornish Fairings, delicious Gingerbreads and other high class confectionary. Today, the company he founded, closely follows some of the original recipes producing traditional biscuits with the love and care as Mr Furniss did himself. The boxes are decorated by local artists paintings of St Ives. Available: the classic Cornish Clotted Cream Shortbread and Cornish Fairings. And the new Clotted Cream Shortbread with Strawberries- a perfect accompaniment with tea in the Summer Sun.
